Frequently asked questions
Are the resources free?
Yes, all of them. The maps, the calculators, the privacy-notice generator and the country dossiers are free to use. They're how we share what we've studied about monitoring workers, even if you never become a customer.
Do I have to sign up or leave my email to use them?
No. You open the tool and use it. The privacy-notice generator runs inside your browser and sends your data nowhere; the other tools don't ask for an account. If you want to stay updated you can leave us your email, but that's your call, not a toll.
Can I trust the legal information here?
It's built on national law and real decisions by the authorities, with the source given and a verification date. That said, it stays an informative resource, not legal advice: before switching a monitoring system on, have your situation checked by a professional.
Can I use these tools on my own site?
Yes. The GPS workers map can be embedded with the code on its page, and the resources can be cited by linking the source. If you run an industry blog or advise companies, they're meant for that too.
Are they only useful if I use GeoTapp?
No, they stand on their own. We built them so that anyone sending people into the field understands what compliance takes, GeoTapp or not. If you then want a system already set up to record location only at clock-in and not continuously, it's here, but the resources are useful either way.
Who are they for?
For anyone with teams working off-site: cleaning firms, installers, security, maintenance, construction. Anyone who has to prove where and when a job was done, and wants to do it without turning employees into dots on a map all day.

The work is proven. Now go home.
One tap on site seals the proof, and the report writes itself, ready for the client. No more Friday nights rebuilding the week from memory: when you clock out, you are actually done, and the evening is yours again.
