Why simple GPS attendance is not enough
A smartphone GPS position can be spoofed with a free app: the worker shows up on site while being at home. NoBadge records this position without verifying it. GeoTapp actively verifies it with an anti-spoofing check that cross-references multiple signals, it cannot be fooled. On top of that, every photo is sealed with a cryptographic hash chain: if anyone modifies it, the system detects it immediately.
* By law (GDPR Art. 13), every employee must sign a privacy notice before being geolocated. Most GPS software does not handle this: the legal risk stays with the employer. GeoTapp automatically generates the personalised notice, gets it digitally signed by the employee and blocks GPS access until it is signed. No other software on the market does this.
